Our 12 year old has recently been having accidents during the day. She’s never been fully dry at nights. We are still working out how to best deal with this.
We are due to travel up to Scotland in at the start of the summer holidays and I am wondering how to manage things on the car drive up there.
Thanks for your question. I can imagine that this is stressful, especially as it’s a long journey. There are however many things you can do to make this easier. Firstly, make sure she is in a more absorbent product than normal. What product does she currently wear? If she is normally in a shaped pad, use an all in one. These are more ideal for long journeys.
It also helps to plan your journey with the services stops. Before you set off, I would note down all the service stops you can use on the way there. This is ideal for preventing an accident, and also an opportunity to change her product if needed.
Ensure you also doesn’t consume any fizzy or caffeinated drinks, and provide her with plenty of water.
Let me know if you need any more tips!
