I suffer from incontinence and I’m going abroad with family this summer. I’m worrying about leaking while travelling especially and wondered if you had any advice to help with this experience?
Are any products available to offer additional protection as well as normal incontinence pants?
Medications are only available from your pharmacist, with a doctor’s prescription. It is recommended that you visit your GP and explain your symptoms so they can prescribe the best medication for your situation.
For travelling, I would choose either a more absorbent pull up product or an all in one. You need a product that you won’t have to change frequently, so it is ideal to find one with a high absorbency level. All in ones are perfect for obtaining liquid for a large amount of time. They are nappy style products that are usually belted and fitted with velcro straps for ultimate protection. Would you be willing to try one of these for travelling?
