I am currently using the iD Expert Belt product. Recently, I have noticed that my skin is very irritated. I don’t know if this is because of the product, or because I’m not cleaning the skin properly. I have frequent showers and use mild soap and water..still can’t seem to make it calmer.
This can be very irritating…..its probably just a nappy rash…it sounds like your keeping down below as clean as you can ….keeping it dry is important too did you ever use a medicated powder…caldisine is quite good but use it sparingly as its dear enough…dont stay in a wet nappy too long either.
Yes that is what I’ve been told. My Doctor recommend some cleansing products, including some protective incontinence wipes. These have helped it a little bit, but obvs it will take longer to see better results.
Apparently you’re supposed to avoid using too much soap and stick to cleansing foams and wash which I never knew. Never heard of these powders..how do these work?
And yes I change my products before they become too wet if I can.
They are specially formulated for dealing with nappy rash in babies so you will find them in the aisle in any supermarket with the baby stuff there are creams and powders available there that might help you out with this……I hope it clears up soon for you 👍
If you are wearing the belt I imagine you are fairly severely incontinent like me. I leak continuously and I found that changing pads regularly and using the inco wipes is the only way to reduce the risk of rashes. I’ve learned the hard way from severe rashes and a major infection so please do change your pad regularly.
