I am looking for advice regarding my 85 year old mother.
Unfortunately she has restricted mobility and getting to the toilet is proving a huge problem for her and causing her a great deal anxiety. She is on strong water tablets and has to pee all the time. We have a camode next to her rise and fall chair in her lounge and this is manageable for her if she only needs to pee. The problem comes when she needs a No.2. Although there is a downstairs toilet and a stair lift to get to both toilets in the house she struggles to get there and inevitably has to sometimes use her commode. This has obvious hygiene issues and she feels that it is very degrading for her. Does anyone have similar problems or more importantly suggested solutions? Many Thanks.
