and I have had urine incontinence for three years. This first occurred after 4 months of Olazapine,(withdrew after seven months )following nervous breakdown.Been various drugs and several cystoscopies ,no physical reason ,all working normally say the Urologists.Several pads a day and two changes of underwear and more in hot weather.I have no urgency or feel any need to wee but go every three hours.Passing normal amounts and drinking decaf ,alcohol occasionally. They are videoing my bladder next,Surgeon says quite unusual and rare and is very puzzled. Can you advise please?
Sorry to hear you are experiencing this. Do you find it hard to fully empty your bladder? You could be suffering from involuntary release of urine from an overfull bladder, also known as overflow incontinence.
Are you on any medication at the moment? It can often be a side effect of medications. Do you have any nerve problems or conditions such as Diabetes? Sometimes people have a neurological problem they are unaware of, so it may be useful to ask to be checked for Diabetes and neurological problems.
Do you find you leak only when pressure is placed on the bladder, such as through laughing or lifting something? Or are your leaks completely random?
Let me know if you need any advice on products and leakage management in the meantime.
