and I have had urine incontinence for three years. This first occurred after 4 months of Olazapine,(withdrew after seven months )following nervous breakdown.Been various drugs and several cystoscopies ,no physical reason ,all working normally say the Urologists.Several pads a day and two changes of underwear and more in hot weather.I have no urgency or feel any need to wee but go every three hours.Passing normal amounts and drinking decaf ,alcohol occasionally. They are videoing my bladder next,Surgeon says quite unusual and rare and is very puzzled. Can you advise please?
A high blood glucose level in your blood test may show Diabetes, however it might be ideal to do a test specifically for Diabetes. Sling procedures are an option, which involve making an incision in your lower abdomen and vagina so a sling can be placed around the neck of the bladder. You do need to talk to a Doctor about the best surgery option for you, as some can have side effects. Feel free to read our Incontinence Surgery section for advice.
Stress and a change in hormones can sometimes be a cause, can you relate to this?
If anyone else has any experiences of random incontinence it would be useful to hear about it.
