I have poor mobility due to parkinson’s disease, which has recently been leading to constipation. to my shock, i have had a few faecal accidents. This has never happened before, and I am mortified!! i live alone after my husband passed away, but love my independence, even with parkinson’s disease. Don’t want to have to rely on others. What now :/
Thank you for your question. Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this. You are not alone in experiencing leakages, as this forum can demonstrate!
How much fibre and water do you consume? Staying hydrated and consuming plenty of fibre can help prevent constipation.
You also need to ensure you have clear toilet access and ensure your house isn’t too cluttered.
I would also recommend seeing a Doctor so they have an understanding of what is happening in your body.
