I recently have had heavy leaks at night time, and need something protective to sleep in. Shaped pads haven’t worked, so I want to try pants which are washable if possible. Can anyone recommend washable pants that can be worn at night time? Julie
To be frank, I wouldn`t bother with washable pants. Disposable slips/nappies are so much more convenient and comfortable and you can get a relaxed good night`s sleep when you wear one. Washables inevitably lead to discomfort and the risk of wetting your bedlinen, unless you want to use plastic pants over the top. Even then, they aren`t that comfortable in my long experience. Good luck.
The most secure option would simply be an adult sized terry nappy and plastic pants, though it might take some getting used to. There are also lighter pull-up style towelling pants and fitted adult nappies, which may either require plastic pants/nappy covers or be all-in-ones with waterproof layers – try companies like Drylife and Blanken Care.
