I’m hoping for some advice as I never seem to make it to the toilet in time. I’m 63 and have limited mobility. I know I need to get to the toilet but can’t never quite make it in time without leakage. I’m wondering if anyone has any advice on products or changes I can make to help?
Hi, I have had this problems for a few years now and the only product I have found effective are the Tena Men Level 3. They’re just a little pad that you stick on the inside of your pants and it’s kind of a shield shape. They do have different levels, but other than the pull up pants, I find level 3 to be the best absorbency for myself. You’re not alone, quite a few of my friends also suffer from this.
Are you currently using an incontinence product? As you have limited mobility, I would stay away from pull up pants as they can be difficult to put on and take off.
How severe is your incontinence? If you let me know the severity, I can recommend a product type for you.
I’m not using anything at the moment as i haven’t a clue what to purchase. i wouldn’t say the leakages are very heavy but enough that i need to change my under pants often which is very frustrating. Can anyone tell me more about the tena men? how do i choose an absorbency? Would anyone recommend any other products?
Tena Men are pads designed specially for the male anatomy, designed for light to moderate incontinence. The Level 4 product is a pull up pant. Do you think a light pad would be absorbent enough for you?
