Over the past couple of months, I’ve recently become incontinent. I’ve had medical tests and there doesn’t seem to be a underlaying reason as to why this has happened. The hospital has advised me to just start wearing incontinence pants or pads but I have no idea where to start this is brand new to me. What pants or pads are right for me? where do I buy them? I really don’t want to be going into a shop to buy them personally! I’m only 42. Please help!!

- I have used all in ones, or nappies for years. I find that they are so much easier to change when out and about, or at work. They also provide very good protection. Yes they may be a bit bulky but with the right fit and some plastic pants, I can go for a good 6 hours or more before I need to change. The plastic pants hold any smells and small leaks at bay. I also wear plastic backed nappies as I find these to be the best for staying where you tape them. Being active and on the go, that’s what I look for in my products. The cloth backed stretch, leak and stink in my opinion. The pull ups and pad and pant system may be ok for people who have the occasional leak but for someone like me who has zero control, I find these products leak very quickly, sag and clump up when they are wet. It’s a matter of choice but personally, I want to know I’m protected and I want to control my incontinence rather than my incontinence control me.
