My Gp suggested that I give the tablets a go for a few months, but I’m still having problems. On examination, I was told that I have a slight cystocele, but the GP was not concerned about it.
I do my pelvic floor exercises every day, as advised.
I take 5mg in the mornings, and the same at night. There has been no mention of surgical treatments as an option at this stage.
I also have lower back pain, but again my GP says there is no link . She did send off some blood tests and urine tests, and they came back clear.
My worst experience, to date, was yesterday, when out for a walk. Without warning, I suddenly realised my bladder was emptying, and there was nothing I could do. I always wear Tena every day, but it was soaked through, as well as my trousers.
This has really started to affect my daily life now.
