I am 72, and my life literally revolves around incontinence. I am worried about going to the shop…going on a walk..to see my friend…everything. Swimming is out the question!! I find that when I worry my leaks get even heavier. Without a doubt, when I go out I leak through my shaped pad…I can feel it against my skin. Always have long coats on, even in summer. How can I stop worrying about this? I think worrying makes it worse. Thanks, Ellie

If you are constantly leaking through, I think you need to consider a different product. Can I ask what product you are in now and how heavy your leaks are?
Remember that no-one else can notice your product, only you. If you are in the right product and carry an additional product just in case, you have nothing to worry about. It can help to know there are plenty of others in your situation, feel free to read our living with incontinence section.
