hi all,
I’m a male with stress incontinence and want a pad to help absorb leakage. I don’t know where to start with these. Does anyone have recommendations? thanks
Hi,
There are many options for you to choose from, it all depends what degree of leakage you have. My own personal preference is for what are called “slips” which are very discreet nappy-style disposable garments that can be worn underneath your briefs. These are attached by very good refastenable velcro pads at the sides and around your hips. Alternatively, there are pull on pants that can be worn instead of underwear. Of course, you may only need male guards which have an adhesive strip that you can tear off and put the pad in your briefs, much like a female panty liner. See Allanda`s website for lots of options. Hope this helps.
Hi,
Yes, slips are a popular and reliable option. I would recommend these for moderate to very heavy leaks however, as they have very high absorbency levels.
Do you have light stress incontinence (small occasional leakages)? If you are light, I would recommend trying the small shaped incontinence pads first. You can look at Allanda’s selection here.
There are many shaped pads designed just for men, let me know if you want one recommending.
