The questionnaire has been developed by researchers at the University of Sheffield in order to better understand incontinence in the community. Anybody experiencing incontinence aged 20-80 is invited to take part and no medical diagnosis is required. The questionnaire is anonymous and has undergone ethical approval from the University of Sheffield. Some of the questions are about skin health, these lead onto questions about skin treatments used in managing and preventing skin irritation associated with incontinence. These questions are to determine what products are being used and the treatments people find most/least effective. The research is not sponsored by any product companies and it is for research purposes only. Individuals with no experience of skin problems can still take part.
