I am trying so hard to shop for my mum with incontinence. She has heavy urinary incontinence and I need to keep her protected, a friend told me to buy a pad and plastic pants. apparently they are very uncomfortable and she refuses to wear these, she is uncomfortable about change so this makes matters even worse. What am I supposed to buy for heavy urine incontinence please? Would like some guidance. Holly
For heavy urinary incontinence, she may find an all in one pad much more comfortable. These are the traditional nappy style pads, however they will feel nicer on the skin than a smaller pad and plastic pants. TENA Slip Maxi is a highly absorbent all in one that is suitable for heavy leaks.
Does she have faecal leaks as well or just urinary incontinence?
