Someone help me please! Recently, my daughter told me she’d been leaking at school for the past 3 months. She’s 13 and has been using sanitary towels for this. Can someone give me tips on how to help her with this please…she’s adamant that isn’t going to the Doctors as she doesn’t want anyone else to know

Sorry to hear your daughter is struggling with this. You need to have a conversation with her about when she leaks, is this just when pressure is placed on the bladder, eg through coughing or exercise? Although you say she will not go to a Doctor, doing this is vital to ensure it isn’t anything serious. Doctors hear about this problem regularly and it is more common than we think, so tell her not to worry about this.
You also need to help her choose a product. I would ask her how heavy her leaks are, I am happy to help you choose a product for her.
