I have regular night accidents that can leak as I usually sleep on my side, is the only way to avoid this by sleeping on your back?
Hi Mark,
What type of product are you wearing during the night?
Plastic pants alongside a protective product can help contain leaks, however these might not be the most comfortable to sleep in depending on how you adjust to them. Have you tried these before?
I would also recommend finding a cloth diaper, which are often used by people who are side sleepers.
Using a bed pad is also ideal to protect your bed from leakages.
You can try and learn to sleep on your back, however if this seems difficult or un-natural, changing products would be the way forward.
Thank you, I am using a maxi pull up pant right now. Will have a think about your comments and see if they might work for me. Thanks again
No problem Mark, I hope you find a successful product.
Don’t hesitate to ask if you need any more help.
Hi, I sleep partly on my side and front which, if the right protection isn`t worn, can lead to leaks. I have used I.D. Expert slips for years now, in conjunction with a pair of close-fitting cotton briefs over the top. Then I wear plastic pants to cover all of this – never lets me down. I cannot remember there ever being a wet bed since I used this arrangement.
Thank you for the comment about wearing an ID expert slip. I do sometimes manage to wake up and rush to the toilet in time, but I suspect the time taking off a slip will be the difference between peeing in the toilet or myself. I have not used a slip before, are they quick/easy to take off and put on again?
