I had an incident where my leakage exceeded the capacity of my pad and I had some leakage onto my trousers, though my plastic pants mostly contained it. I couldn’t get to a toilet due to being stuck in a huge queue at a train station and it was very uncomfortable and stressful. Should I move up to a more absorbent pad or just treat it as a one off and see how I go? I use shaped pads with an 800ml capacity and they’re usually fine.
Thanks, leakage is usually contained by the 800ml pads providing I change them about 6 times a day. I leak pretty much continuously but usually it’s small amounts each time, though it soon adds up which is why I change pads so often. On this occasion I’d had a few drinks with colleagues, which I don’t usually do because it makes my incontinence worse, and I had a huge gush which was barely contained by the pad and plastic pants in combination, and I leaked around the leg cuffs of the pants. Really worried about wearing bulky products so I’m pretty scared about the idea of needing a bigger pad!
