What is the general guidance on pants vs pads for incontinence…(urinary leaks). I want the most discreet option please if possible, and have heard arguments from both sides. Thanks!
If your only having small leaks pull up pants should be fine for you and a pair might see you through the day the down side us they sag between your legs if they get too wet so you need to change more often to avoid this..also you have to remove clothing to change…..pads on the other hand are more convenient to change…personally I prefer to wear a Tena slip as you can adjust them to fit you better and dont sag whatever your choice is I found that the compression pants that sports people wear are excellent to keep your product in place and prevents any movement I also use a good pair of plastic pants for extra reassurance.
How heavy is your incontinence?
Both designs have different benefits, the one which suits you depends on your lifestyle and incontinence. Pants are often harder to put on, so are less ideal for people with low mobility. There are also many styles of pads, including slips and shaped pads. Many people prefer shaped pads, as they are anatomically designed to fit the body. If you provide more information, I can recommend the best style for you!
