Hi! Bit of a basic question I know, but I have double incontinence and have been recommended all in one pads. Shaped pads just don’t provide enough absorbency for me anymore. Am I right in thinking these will be very bulky and uncomfortable? Really tempted to just try another pad. What are people’s experiences with them??
Dave
Hi Dave,
All in ones are very effective for double incontinence. They can also be worn for long periods of time, due to their absorption. They can feel more bulky. However, they are designed to provide maximum comfort, and knowing you are protected may be worth the cons.
If anyone has any experience wearing all in ones, it would be useful to hear your opinion.
All-in-ones come in lots of different levels of bulk and absorbency, so aren’t necessarily more bulky than pull-ups or large pads – in fact, the close fit can potentially mean there are less bulges in obvious places under your clothes.
The obvious benefit is the security and all-around coverage and containment. Of course, with a tape-on variety there’s no getting away from the fact you’re wearing a nappy, but if you can get over that, the benefits are worth it.
Hi Dave
i have had continence issues for most of my life. the stigma of the situation and the products we sometimes need to use can be very difficult at the best of times.
My own personal opinion is that the safer you feel the better.
And we should all do our best not to let it affect how we live our lifes or what we do with that life.
If someone does not want to be friendly or a be part of our lifes that sould is there problem. seek out people that care about you and love you for who you are and not diss you for the underwear you need to explore and live the life that is yours.
Stay positive in the fact there are other people out there wearing nappies if that is what they choose to call them and live life to the fullest.
be proud of who you are, in the knowledge you are just different but still strong
