I’m 23 and in January 2020 my bladder became swollen and I wasn’t able to urinate. This had been going on since August 2019 but I was just wetting the bed and unable to urinate properly during the day. I have been catheterised and was told everything was normal. My bladder was healthy and couldn’t find nothing wrong. But you don’t just stop urinating at 23 years old. They told me I may have the catheter for the rest of my life and I don’t think that is going to help my mental health. I’m scared because no one knows what’s wrong but their must be something wrong. Because my GP didn’t bother to help me in August 2019 this has now happened and if she didn’t ignore me when I first told her maybe it wouldn’t of got so bad.
