I am at my wits end with managing heavy urinary incontinence. Buying products is costing so much and I find that nothing gives me enough confidence. I just want to feel protected and not have to deal with leaks wherever I go. I want to talk to someone else with heavy incontinence to know how you manage it!! I feel like i cannot even leave the house.
My second attempt at posting some useful advice for you. The first place is to get yourself thoroughly checked by the medical profession. Have you had an operation (e.g. prostate) which has left you with this condition? I am assuming that you are a man, though what follows is equally appropriate to a female. I have had prostate cancer and treatment in the form of radiotherapy. The side effect has been an over-active bladder, as well as urgency when I do athletic running. I wear a slip/adult nappy 24/7 and have not looked back since I made the decision (about 4 years ago) to wear 24/7. They are a perfect discreet fit and will take heavy and multiple wettings and will not let you down. You can easily get supplies VAT-free when you make your first order. Most GP`s surgeries have an incontinence nurse attached to the practice or should be able to put you in touch with a clinic. Hope this helps and alleviates some of your worries. Regards
